Post Election

Well, it's been a few weeks now since the election. I have a lot of thoughts but I won't try to put it all down here.

I believe neither of the 2 choices was ideal, but to choose Obama was by far the worst of the two.

It remains to be seen now, if Obama the president will do what Obama the candidate promised for those who voted for him.

My trust in politicians is pretty close to zero right about now.

No matter what the government does though, I will put my trust in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. As a believer in Christ, my allegiance is to Him first and foremost. I will do what is right in His eyes and according to His word. Christians , we had better make up our minds, and set our hearts to abandon our lives to Him now. We know from His word that a time is coming when
we will be hated and hunted by the unbelievers who shake their fists at God.

That's all for now.

Well said! I've been sensing that our country is headed in the wrong direction, particularly with this most recent election.

I think many Americans have hardened themselves to the truth and have rejected the Lord. No president can give us what we really need anyway...acknowledging the Lordship of Jesus Christ is what the world really needs.
